There may be some requirements for visitors coming to the United States in terms of visas. The visa requirements are described in more detail on the following website: http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html

The Association for Information Systems will prepare a letter of invitation for conference attendees requiring visas to travel to the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2009). 

As visa requirements can take several weeks, attendees should be advised to request the letter immediately upon completing the registration process or no later than 2 months prior to the conference.   Please complete the attached form and fax to +1 (404) 760-8177 or email to the AIS Offices at registrar@aisnet.org along with a copy of the registration confirmation.  Please be informed that you are required to pay the registration fee in advance before the letter will be prepared. If the attendee has paid the registration fee and the visa is not granted, a full refund will be issued.
