Track Description
Cost considerations, technology changes, upcoming legislation and the need to improve efficiency and TCO all combine to make "Green IT" a critical topic of discussion among corporations looking for ways to improve their ecological footprint while reducing operational costs. Many organizations are in the process of developing strategies for environmental stewardship and efficient energy use. These strategies include initiatives such as reducing overall power consumption, working to extend the useful life of their products and providing equipment recovery and recycling services.
