Zan
Huang
was a doctoral candidate in the Department of
Management Information Systems at the University
of Arizona. His research interests included:
(1) data analysis and modeling research in recommender
systems, bioinformatics, knowledge mapping,
and financial applications and (2) human-computer
interaction issues. He published his work
on these research areas in seven journal papers
in ACM Transactions on Information Systems,
Decision Support Systems, Journal of the American
Society for Information Science, ACM Journal
on Educational Resources in Computing, and Journal
of Nanoparticale Research. He worked in in the
Arizona Artificial Intelligence Lab, where he
was involved in several NSF/NIH funded
research projects. He also taught
MIS undergraduate courses: Business Data Communications
and Introduction to Basic Operations Management.
He received a B.Eng. in Management Information
Systems from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China
in 2000.
