Approach & Methodology

Testbed: 200 raw Group Systems (GS) electronic meeting comments. Techniques: Automatic Indexing-stop wording and algorithmic index phrase formation Concept Space-index phrase co-occurrence information is used to generate an automatic thesaurus for search term suggestion. Kohonen Self-Organization Map (SOM) Algorithms-1-D, 2-D, 3-D (VRML) displays for information categorization and visualization. Multi-dimensional Scaling-an alternative method to the Kohonen SOM providing information categorization and visualization in 1-D, 2-D, 3-D (VRML) displays.
