The AI Lab SpidersRUs Digital Library Toolkit is designed to provide modular tools for different types of functions (e.g., spidering, indexing, searching) for building digital libraries in different languagues in a simple DIY (Do-It-Yourself) way. The toolkit works with the Java 2 Platform J2SE 1.4.0 or later versions.

SpidersRUs is developed by the Artificial Intelligence Lab, a research group in the Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona.

• SpidersRUs 2.2 (Setup files for Windows) - 1.0 MB
• SpidersRUs 2.2 (jar file and configuration files only) - 264 KB (When extracting the files, you will need to use the subfolder names given in the zip file.) Example of running the jar file from command line:
  java -Xmx512m -jar SpidersRUs.jar
• Please make sure that you have Java 2 Platform J2SE 1.4.0 or later versions installed on your computer. Download the latest Java 2 Platform from here.
